I did not want to chance any sort of hijack...

That pic of the bighorn was cool... How do these tires do in mud? Are they anywhere near a mudlite or mst? Just wondering cause I think they are cool looking tires.

06 Hawkeye, black and silver 4x4 for the wife. Brushguard and winch.

Can't say first hand, but I don't think it's a great mud tire.

They are terrible in the mud, I mean deep thick nasty mud. They will do well in moderate mud, they will spin like hell, but will slowly get you through. They don't even come close the MSTs, Mudlites.

The biggest problem with Bighorns in the mud, is that they turn to slimeballs very quickly, don't self clean very well, and don't have a aggressive mud tire pattern.

I have goodyear mudrunners and they work pretty good.


Toys:
(mine)Renegade 800, Polaris SP 800, Honda 250R, Yamaha Banshee 350 (wife) Polaris SP 500 (Children) 03 Honda XR 50, 3 Razor electric quads and 1 Razor electric dirt bike + a couple of power wheels

I have the pxt's now and from what I have seen they are by far one of the best if not THE best stock tire out there.

I also think that they are not bad overall as far as aftermarket tires. I have had no problems with mine and I think I go just as far into the crud as others do with comparable tires.

i got a similar, almost exact tredded tire, the GBC Dirt Tamer...not very good in mud, but the best trail tire i have ever ridden

Elkbow,seeing how we ride simalar country (western) what would you pick for the wifes sp 500 bighorns,dirt tammers,or mudlite r, I read LaMigratx post on the Bighorns (awsome post very good info)don't do mudd much in the mountains more rocks so just asking thanks
