i have 1" spacers on my 06 450, they were the same size tires as yours, one thing i did notice was an extreme loss of power, i rode them for 2 weeks and sold them, too much performace loss IMO

What kind of 27's? There are some lite weight tires out there now. You may have a rubbing issue on the tie rod ends with a 10in wide tire though. Some have solved this problem by Flipping the tie/rod ends.

I also bought a heelclicker, but it still didnt make it worth the performance loss, 26's are alot better on performance/driveshafts/belts etc

i only had 26 inch xtr's on my 700 but once i added the heelclicker it really came alive. the power loss from a 450 is probably alot more noticable than on the 700.

I cant remeber the name , but they are similar to ITP mud lites. They seem pretty lite.

Thanks for the replys.
On the heelklicker, is it a pretty straight forward upgrade. I have never been into a clutch on these before. I have a bit of auto wrenching experiance. Is it easy to tackle for a first timer?

They are like the cheap version of ITP's. I will get a name for you when I bring them home.

the heelclicker isn't very hard, i think you could make a go of it. it will open up your 700, you will be happy you did it.

i thought you were putting the 27's on a 500. from what i am told, the heelclicker only really makes a difference on the 600+ bikes. they make a little difference on the smaller bikes, but a bigger difference on the bigger bikes. My 27's were MudBugs. then i put a heelclicker in and it was a little better, but still got rid of em. 26's are way better performance wise. also, the heelclicker is simple to install trust me. take you longer to get the clutch cover off than it does to install the kit. good luck and happy riding
