I'm down in California working in a FEMA warehouse and they have 3 SP800's sitiing in here with God knows howm many Gators. Well I just had to get on one and drive it around the warehouse. I've never been on one before. That thing is a wheelying machine. It takes no effort to launch the wheels in high. I obviously couldn't test out the acceleration in the warehouse but the low-end is very nice. Mine isn't far off in the low-end but I know there's no way I can make up for the extra cc's.
The EFI was a dream to start. No worrying about having to choke it and feather the throttle to get it warmed up. I would so love to have one of tose rigs.
Well done..I'm jealous of all you 800 owners Bow to You

Broken Arrow, I know first hand what you are saying. My old 04.5 600 ran pretty damn good (beat a 05 700 with many mods top end & take off) but my new 800 is nigth and day difference! Thumbup

Was it an 07 800efi? As already stated the 07 has more lowend than the 06 which had more than the 05. My 07 with a winch, brush guard, 26" bighorns up front will pull stand straight up if you pin the throttle from a dead stop. That is with me sitting on the seat and no effort. If I assist in the wheely it would probably come over on me.

Actually pope, the rear bumber and rack would stop you from going over, I know this from experience with my wheelie king H.O!!! I took it out a couple of days ago, I can still get her to come up and stay there for a long time, but go to far and she hangs on the rear rack Big Grin

I thought about fabricating some kinda wheelie bar for mine. I'm afraid the momentum of it coming up would over power the resistance of the rear bumper and rack. It comes up hard and fast so, I ain't going to trust the bumper. Besides, I would be upset to scratch up my new $8,000 quad like that!
