Mornin Boys, Is there a way to put a switch on the EBS system to shut it off when I needed to???
That would be cheaper then the $300 front break system,, Just wonderin,,,

The EBS is mechanical and not electrical. The only way to remove it would be to find a non-EBS primary and secondary.

You aren't alone in not understanding how and why EBS works. It is a one way clutch that is mounted on the center shaft in the primary.
What happens is when you slow down enough the belt will drop far enough into the center of the primary to make contact with the one way clutch. If you just tap the gas it will raise the belt ever so slightly that it will no longer be resting on the oneway and EBS is dissengaged.
