I just had 2 '05 SP500 fan motors go bad within 1 hour (bad bearings). Does anyone know where I can buy the SPAL fan motors, or do you have to buy the whole fan. And would you have a part number. Thanks!

I vagely recall reading about another source of fans that were the same as POPO's only about 25% the cost.

I just ordered and got my new fan from SPAL for my 04.5 Sportsman. Just go to spalusa.com and look at their stock or call the number. They will hook you up. Mine was 89 bucks to the door with the Polaris waterproof harness. Due to my year, I had to re-use my fan and cover but the motor is a perfect repalcement. Beats the $299 price at Polaris
