They say there is a removeable section of frame and it only takes about 15 minutes to change.

I've never actually had to change a belt much less do it in the field. I'm not sure that is something Polaris would want to advertise, ease of field changing a belt, as it might give people the wrong idea about belt reliability. Still it is important to be able to change a belt without pulling the engine too, lol.

We had a 550 xp here some time ago and checked it out. there is a removable frame section that must be removed to get the housing out.

Does it even have a belt or is it some kind of CLUTCH type set up? I could'nt see the other side of the motor........Engineers did there work on that one......

That looks just like the prototype I saw. The belt is horizontal behind the inline motor.

The frame removel section is only 4 bolts.
