Today was a good day. It was about 68 degrees and the sun was shining - gorgeous day!

The best part was getting the Honda Rincons out of the enclosed trailer and dewinterizing them. Reloaded the rear bags with fresh supplies, first-aid kit, rain gear, etc. Looks like the leather gloves have been in a war so will need to buy some new ones.

Checked the air pressure in the tires and a couple tires needed a little bit of air put back in. I like the Big Horns to have 5 lbs. in the rear and 4 lbs in the front tires. This has worked good for us.

Of course I had to take it for a spin behind the house to make sure it still is purring. After I had fun buzzing around the property and Bob dragging the arena, we put them back in the trailer.

Sure got me into the mood to ride. Now if the weather would just stay warm!

It's a great feeling getting back on that quad after being away from it for so long isn't it!

You need to keep them ready and go on a couple winter rides with us next year.

On easy trails, I put 5 in the front and 4 in the back of the Big Horns. Softens the ride a bit. Different suspensions require different setups though. My rear shocks can be a bit stiff at times in the rocks, and the 5 in front eases the steering on that pig. Smile

Good Morning ATVer -
My husband has 4 lbs in both front and rear of his BigHorns. I guess we aren't sure what is best. If we hit a lot of rocks, I'll drop my rear tires to 4 lbs. So far this seems to work good for us.

About this time of year we head up to the Red Feather area and ride out of Swamp Lady. We've gotten stuck in the snow several times. We don't have a winch but a tow strap works. It is fun to play in the snow.
