Yes you can, but you may need to trim a bit of the fender.

A good friend has the same machine and is running 25 mud lites, he said that the tires might rub a bit if the shocks are worn as his were. So he trimmed some of the fenders off.

Good luck

Rick,
What kind of tires are you wanting to put on the 300?

My buddy is digging it out of mothballs to ride with us, he wants to gain some ground clearnce and get a smoother/softer ride. I recomended Big Horns or TerraCross. He doesn't mud but for some reason $$ he went with MudLights. You know how more agressive tread and bias will ride smoother/softer?!? He ordered the 25" f/r.

I think for the 300 he made the right choice, as the mud lites are in fact,,,, light.

The heavier Bighorns might have bogged it down a bit beyond 1st gear. While the 300 has plenty of power in 1st gear anything beyond 1st and it would be taxing.

Nothing wrong with the Mudlites they are a good tire.

I guess I shouldn't rag on him then for asking what to buy and then get something totally differant. I just hope he will ride it now! He wanted smoother/softer! I said radials all the way.

Yes radials are nice, but the 300 is a smaller quad to start with.

I think he should do just fine with the Mudlites.

Be sure to give us a report once your friend has them for a while.
