Anyone tried or needed to add a little front end weight to their grizzly, mine feels a bit to light for certain hill climbs and big bumps. I was trying to think of ways to keep some weight on the front end.

Any ideas?

Maybe it's not the front end; what's in the Quad Boss box?

I've not weighed mine. But when I hoist it around in the garage the front is noticeably heavier than the rear.

Maybe you can mount a seat on the front and haul a passenger up there. That should help. Big Grin

Cranking the rear shocks up and the front down helped on the Kodiak.

Just use a large chanel locks. Afreind bought a elchepo pair from somewhere and ground all the teeth off but the big one on the end of both jaws and that has worked FAR better than any store bought spanner wrench.

Personaly I like the front end beeing light. Its not near light enough for my taste, but I am used to riding a 700 Raptor and like to wheelie at will. Persoanly I dont care if the front end comes up going up a hill,, heck most of the time I literaly try to pull it up while climbing a hill but I have been called crazy before. The only time I what the front end to stay down while climing is if I have to turn or it is so straight up and down that I am leaning WAY over the bars and holding onto the front rack.

It might have one in the tool kit. Be sure to unload the suspension (just have someone pick up on it) as much as possible and it makes it a lot easier.

Go ridin' with us Saturday. I found I carry a spanner wrench on the trail cuz' xeoncomp needed one and I dug through my tools and there it was. He adjusted his Grizzly in less than a couple of minutes. Best way to determine where you want it set is on the trail.

I like mine adjusted soft all the way around and it's setting at the second notch from softest.
