Lamigra, I knows this is a Texas page but noticed on your site you made a ride to Magazine Mountain last month. We made a trip just north of Mills about 2 years ago. We are planning a miny vacation to Magazine Mountain the last weekend in October. Hoping to see the fall colors change like we do in September in Colorado. From your review, sounds like a nice place to ride....

Its a great place to visit and ride at. Its the highest point in Arkansas, and offers great views, and awesome trails. Its one of my favorite places to ride, you won't be disappointed. We are going to do a winter ride up there this year. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

For what it's worth, just a little tidbit for ya. At one time it was against the law to wrongly pronounce Arkansas in the state. They didn't like the idea that ppl would confuse it with KANSAS. Just read that today.

It does look like the 'colors' are a little later this year, might be the first or second week in Nov....?????

I wondered about that since Colorado was a couple weeks late this year. Well, we are going to ride the NF right off the mountain so if the colors are not there, it won't be a wasted trip... What about around that area, any color there?????

Hopefully this cool spell we are having will get them in the change a little sooner.. We are headed for Magazine Mountain Thursday morning. Weather looks great right now cool nights and mild days.. Should be some good riding....
