I appreciate the help in locating all this oil, and the suggestions to different places. In the end after comparing the prices on the internet and local dealer, the local dealer prices were actually right in the middle. They didn't cost the most, but they weren't the cheapest, right in the middle. The local dealer did offer me a 10% discount since I have bought the majority of my oil from, and usually spend about $150 when I am there. The only two oils I could not find at the local dealer was the Polaris front diff oil, and ADC fluid. Thanks to the recommendation to Breese Lawn and Garden, I received those two oils today.

In the end I ll continue to buy the rest of my oils from my dealer, and the ones I cannot I ll get of the net. Just thought I would share this.

Its there upper right 10w40 running it in the Outty 800. I ll be running it in the TC 950 also, and probably my SP X2, and Grizz 700. This X2 is getting a pretty good work out. I agree I like it alot, and the Amsoil stays alot cleaner.

Sounds like what the big heat monster Outty needs. Once I run through the 10w40, I ll give it a shot.

Ever tried Rotella?

Availale in 15-40 petroleum, and 5-40 (I think) synthetic, this Diesel-rated oil's pretty all-purpose, as far as 4-strokes go.

I was also going to suggest Shell Rotella as a great oil for ATVs as they are wet clutch compatible, reasonably priced and readily available at Wal Mart. This subject was commented on in the Suzuki forum

The mystery to me is the narcotic allure of Amsoil and all the other Honda,Yamalube etc, boutique expensive oils that have such a loyal following and those that are willing to spend great sums of money for their baby,.... then thrash the hell out of their ATV in some mud hole, Shrug....all of this alludes me because the normal service life of an ATV is much less than 25,000 miles at best,...... it is your $$$$$$

This oil is highly recommended for breaking in new camshafts because of the high zinc content.

I don't see any chaincase lub. What is in the popo bottles with the green lid. Is that the 0W40? I think the same thing every time I go buy the oil for may 500. Why am I putting the high dollar Mobil 1 in my ATV. I look at the Rotella oil every time I am in Wal Mart. How do you know the Amsoil actually stays cleaner? Have you done an oil analysis on the oil? I can show you proof of where the Amsoil actually broke down and became very thin to where Blackstone labs commented on how thin this oil was. This oil debate has been going on for years and years and will continue. Kinda like Ford,Dodge and Chevy. Greg and I disagree on alot of things but we still ride together and thats all that counts.

Ronnie that Amsoil is so clean I use it in my hair once I drain my motor. I sent a sample of Amsoil to Blackstone after 1000 miles, and they sent it back to me telling me I could use it for another 1000 miles slap

Max I have you scheduled for tomorrow at 9am. Just hope you don't have a Honda, because my Honda Rubicon is using most of that Honda Oil, 5qt.

Actually, if the oil were that clean, it wasn't doing it's job. Part of the job is to clean and carry away tiny particles produce by wear,it actually holds these particles in suspension so that they are carried away when it is drained. Yes the oil filter catches a lot of the larger stuff, but there are a lot that pass right through the oil filter. These particles in suspension make the oil look darker, dirty. Appart from lubrication and aiding in cooling that would be the main job. If it didn't your engine would be full of sludge.
