Hey guys, after being in CO for 26 years, I finally made my first tip to TP. It won't be my last trip there. It was wet as evidenced by the pics but we had a great time, No Dust .
I mainly rode in the back of the pack so most of the pics are of my son, who was generally ahead or behind me and was the only one on a dirt bike. They made some interesting pics tho since you need to carry more speed thru the water.
We could'nt ride the high trails but we still rode about 120 miles over 2 days.

If I figure out how to do it, I;ll put a link to the pics later

Great pictures.
There's a lot of snow melt this time of year.
Makes me miss Taylor Park.

Max the best thing to do is put your pics in a hosting site. I use ImageEvent, some use PhotoBucket. Whatever, just load your photos to their site and then just put a link in your post to take us to the pics. This helps those poor folks that have slow internet connections while trying to view your post. I know if I was at home, even though it is DSL, it is slower than at work and trying to load all these pics would take forever.

Hey, max49. Road at Moab, Ut Memorial Day weekend. First two days were dry but got soaked on the 3rd day.
There were 5 grizzlies, 1 suzuki 750 and my popo EFI 700. Got to say the Polaris caught alot flak from the griz riders, but it was never out preformed and few times was the best preformer.
We ran the Metal Masher and the Golden Spike, lots of rock climbing and some water crossing. Have to say the quality of the riders was good to very good.
We all had a grrreat ride! Plan on riding the Piaute Trail in Sept.

Great pic's hope yuor rides were as fun as our's

Looks like TP may have had better weather than we had in Buena Vista Four Mile area. Plenty of rain to dodge around, never saw a hint of dust. There was enough mud to go around for everyone to carry several pounds back to camp or even home for that matter.

My helmet cam or Kenny's? Mine is a VIO 1.5 from Helmetcamcentral.com with the wide angle lens. I use rechargeable AA's that seem to last for ever and an 8g micro SD card with the adaptor. I haven't had any problems using the micro cards I don't get any more freeze frames than I did with the standard cards and the micros will fit every other device I have. I use Roxio Pro for editing it was something like $100 give or take a few and seems to do a great job. I have several more clips to edit as time permits and will post them when they are done.

I started out with the Vholder its not a bad camera but it did freeze frame a lot more in rough conditions and the audio is plain worthless due to where the mike is located. All you get a loud rush of air if your at anything more than a fast walk or a bang if anything hits the metal case. I upgraded when the on / off button broke still under warranty. They have since upgraded the small button on the camera but the difference in price was well worth it for the VIO. Helmetcamcentral are probably the best people to work with, no questions asked when the Vholder broke and I wanted to upgrade. All I had to do was give them a shipping number and the sent the new one out the same day.

Another nice feature of the VIO is the remote start/stop that can be strapped or velcroed anywhere. I keep the main part of the camera in a vest pocket where most of the lens cord also resides which helps to shield the mike from rushing air noise.

My cam is the VIO 1.3, it had the updated firmware and wide angle lens as the 1.5, only mine is black in color. Mine also uses the old style mounts.

I too use photobucket, but I can't seem to get the audio to upload. Do you have a pay account there??? It can also be that I'm on a MAC, and Photo Bucket might have issues with Quick Time mov files.

I also have the MAC's Hard Drive partitioned and have Windows XP on like 34 GB's of the 750 GB's total. Coincidental I too have an older edition of Roxio Pro. It the sound issue is MAC related, think I'll have to install the Roxio on the windows side and do it that way.

I don't have a pay account, I have the most problems with you Tube mostly just getting files to upload is a major pain. I am thinking it might be Quick Time although it should be more than compatible. Maybe check for any updates or patches for Quick Time. I don't have any experience on the MAC, you might even have problems on the XP side depending on how well the emulation package behaves. We have run different emulators in the past without a lot of luck. We do run a lot of laptops as dualboot with Red Hat for various reasons with no problems, but then that is on an Intel system. I have Vista on this laptop, after a few tweaks I don't have any problems. I am going to change it over to Winn 7 in a couple of weeks we have had good luck with that so far.
