I'm up for a ride this weekend. We were looking at Red Cone but now undecided based on snow pixs of the area.

Where ya thinking about riding and what day?

I could do either day. But I can't leave longmont until 8:30 on sunday. Didn't really have a place in mind. Was kinda toying with the idea of C.C. before it becomes a winch fest.
How far is Redcone? I didn't get a chance to do bill moore lake/empire loop or saxon mountain, lamartine.
Anything's possible.

Red Cone is one of the most amazing ride you'll do ... See pics HEREand HERE

I'm just questioning the fact if we can get "down" from the peak .... is a one way road and is pretty scarry in the summer ....

It looks like the Webster Pass / Redcone staging area is about 70 miles from I-76 & I-25 interchange. It is just west of Grant, CO.

I've not had the opportunity to ride that area and may have to wait until next year if the snow stays up at that elevation.

Bet that snow will be gone by sat.
Also could stage on the Montazuma side to .
Might save some miles for us up north here Big Grin
I could go either sat or sun.

2010 850/EPS, I'd let you ride it but then you would want one!

It's a procedure we have done when we don't want to have any more "little ATV's". Wink Big Grin

It seems warm enough this week to give it a try.
Wanna try Redcone Saturday?

If you guys want to do some serious car pooling, my trailer is available! Big Grin Unfortunately I'm not able to ride for a couple weeks and then I still need to take it easy as to not tear open my new incisions. Slap

I would be up for the car pooling, if someone has a truck big enough to pull it. I think my 4 cyl 5 speed ranger is about done. I may be looking for something bigger after Christmas.

Shawn, Do you pull your's in a trailer or put it in the truck bed? If you use a trailer, I can pull it if you can get down to 136th & I-25. If not I have a two sled trailer that holds two easily and 3 in a pinch.

Is Saturday at Red Cone area on the Montezuma side the plan?

I would be interested in going ridding on Saturday if that's the decision. What time are you wanting to leave? Red Cone or Billmore Lake sounds good to me

It's about 140 miles according to Mapquest and that's just from Pueblo to the wide spot in the road called Webster! Big Grin
