I just saw that on his Facebook page.

Makes you wonder how much is still on top of Hancock Pass. I guess I will find out in 2 1/2 weeks.

Awesome weekend! Had 2 Elk come right thru camp as I was setting up, pretty cool to hear them "bark" at you. I was sleeping in a bivy sack and when I rolled over I was nose to nose with a skunk. He was trying to crawl in bed with me so I yelled at him and he growled and ran off. I got to laughing about in come daylight thinking that skunk is probably still running.
Still lot's of snow, so after spending the night I changed locations (no not because I was afraid of a return visit from the skunk,...well, maybe) Saturday morning and went to a new area. I have been to within 5 miles of this place but turned around the last time. I will be going back next weekend and taking the dog,...Sandy too if she behaves herself, awesome place.

Cabman said's to ATVbum. "Hey Atvbum, I am going to TP this weekend, you want to join? I have this friend that you have to meet. Loves to cuddle with you in your sleeping bag, just have to get use to the slight scent".

Made it to within about 200 yards from the top of Hancock on the Pitkin side. There's an off camber 100 yard at least 6 foot deep snow drift. The top looked clear, but I'm sure the north side is even worse. Tomichi is still buried as well. Just past the mine the snow is 6 feet deep. Napolean has a huge tree blocking it, but definitely snow blockage higher up. Too much cold weather keeping it from melting.
