Has anyone been to CC lately? We were there about 3 weeks ago and couldn't make it very far. We're assuming it's open by now.
Also, since we can't get a big rig into the campground(Columbine), can we park near the Cemetary parking lot overnight and not get kicked out?
Planning on a Saturday ride this weekend. Maybe we'll see some of you there! Can't wait. Need a break from the weekly grind and some rocks to navigate.

I rode there Saturday. Kingston Peak has a lot of snow on it near the leg that passes the north side for James Peak Lake trail that may take awhile to melt off. We did not make it over to Rollinsville Pass side but I heard Jenny Creek is clear up to the last section where there is a wall of snow at the top. There is still plenty of rideable area.

Concerning overnight at the parking lot, you may want to contact Gilpin Sheriff. The parking lot was very full last Saturday. Lotsa people out riding. It was the most dirt bikes I have seen up there. I thought I was at Rampart.

I went up & rode a little of CC today. Met some really nice people.
Nice riding with ya SuziQueen. 2thumbs

Kingston peak is open all the way thru.

The big puddle area is kinda deep.
Finally got that Mad Kaw to ride a water wheelie... untill it got real high & my eyes got real big, then I squealed like a little girl & let off the gas. Slap

After listening to Obama's State of The Union address, I called my stockbroker and asked what I should be buying...
He said, "Canned goods and Ammunition!"

We had a blast riding with Cob & Poopsie, Rock On, ATV Bum, and Al & Anita yesterday. Thanks for your entertainment on the snowdrifts. First time on the Rock Garden for us, and it was fun. Thanks to Poopsie for running up the hill ahead of us to video the ride. Look forward to doing it again.
