Hope you have good weather. Make sure to go cut that tree out of the way on Napolean so it's all clear for me next time I go. I would have done it but not sure my chainsaw was big enough. The fish are bitin too.

What is the deal with moving the Pitkin side start for Napolean Pass??? I assume the tree is on the Pitkin side??

I have a small chainsaw that I will be taking with me for that reason. We had to cut thru a tree on Napolean Pass last year on our first day out there. Bout killed me, since it was a hand saw that I carry on the ATV with me.

Tree cutting in spring in COLORADO is just a normal thing.

Yes the tree is on the Pitkin side and not very far up. They also paved the beginning, no more rocks.

Call me stupid. Been dealing with my dealer on a trailer, now have a 5 X 14 that works great for 2 ATV's and am looking at a 7 X 14 that will haul 3 sideways.

Boss has a 1999 400 Explorer that he was going to let us take. This thing rides ok here in the flatlands, but the last time we borrowed it to take to the hills it is like riding in a lumber wagon. I probably should go ahead and take the old beast as it is for a 16 yr old that bitched about having to ride with his mom on the X2 last year. When she was nice and let him drive he was a real jerk about it.

Anyway out of the blue, I called my banker this morning and I will be herding a new 500 around the hills this trip. Breakin will happen in the hills, along with putting on the winch and brush guard.

Color to be determined when I call the dealer in a few minutes to see what he has ready to go.

Country Feeds in Montezuma. Really great guy to deal with. Just google for his website, prices shown on site are higher than I bought for.

On Saturday when I was there, he was selling an ATV to a guy from Dalhart TX. When I was talking to him, he said the guy in Dalhart had told a friend of his from Denver about the prices and service he gets. The Denver guy called and got a quote and could drive down and pick up a machine and have money to spare verses prices in Denver.

Congrats John. That's pretty cool.
I'll be up there the week before the 4th. Maybe we'll bump in to ya.

After listening to Obama's State of The Union address, I called my stockbroker and asked what I should be buying...
He said, "Canned goods and Ammunition!"
