Well after my brief encounter with some rocks Sunday i found out that I did break a finger. I am very happy that is all that happened.

I took my ATV into the shop for an estimate for the insurance company. I thought maybe $500-700 in parts plus labor. Well I got the estimate back today... $4753.27. I will find out in a couple of days what the insurance adjuster will do. I sure am glad that I have insurance and a $250 deductible!

Good thing it was only a finger!

Eek on the $$$!

Gotta restore that plastic's color, that is one of the best colors PoPo has put out on their quads.

Sorry to hear about the damage but it sure feels good to have insurance. My most lingering pain is a finger too, but I don't think mine is broken, just jammed as it moves okay but just doesn't like the side to side motion!

Sorry to hear about your finger. How in the world did you do that much damage???? What else was broken. Front end box, front brush guard, tire and rim, what else??? Did you bend the frame? or break some stuff we didn't see??

I am super glad you have insurance on it. I just looked the value up on nada and it looks like you are about 3 grand short of totaling it.

Don't let those tree huggers up there find out or they may try to use it as ammo to shut down the area to us riders who are all tearing up the area with no respect of anything up there.

Glad to hear that there is no permanant damage to you. The quad can be replaced.

Check with Progressive Suzi....seems to be the majority choice here. It's cheaper on line then going to an agent, especially if you don't need the medical or trailer covered. Mine was $88. this year on an 800cc machine. It goes down after a few years..they obviously never seen me ride. Big Grin

When I crashed mine two years ago Progressive paid out with no hassle.

My 800 T cost $ 140 this year w/progressive.

I am not sue what I pay per year since everything is bundled together but If I remember correctly it is not much, $120-130 per year?

Yes there was some damage that we did not see. The frame was bent and there is some issues with the front suspension. The list was WAY longer then I thought it would be.

The 2009's are due in any day. There may be a new quad in my future!

We have Progressive Insurance on our ATV's. So far not needed to use the insurance. Every year it goes down. We are paying $156.00/year for 2 Rincons. People who have needed to make a claim have said Progressive pays with no hassle.

Sorry you wrecked it but glad you are okay except for the finger. Sounds like a near total on your quad.

You can come on over to the king quad side. I am sure you liked riding on the back of one. It's ok, most people here would like to, they just wont admit it.

For me just the ATVs and now an additional motorcycle. When I sold my motorcycle and bought this one, I found Progressive was considerably cheaper.

They haven't been able to beat my current auto rates.
