Have to get out and ride this weekend. The questions is where would you like to ride. Available to travel as necessary. Available Sunday July 5th.

Question:
Where are you riding This weekend?

Choices:
Central City?
Winter Park, Empire, Bill Moore Lake?
Saxton Mountain/ Georgetown?
Rampart, Rainbow Falls or Divide 717?
Taylor Park or surrounding area?

We are staying close to home over the 4th. Plan to BBQ in the back yard and just enjoy relaxing.

We plan to go to TP or Lake City around July 17th for a few days of camping and riding.

Have fun where ever you decide to ride.

I'd like to join you this Sunday, but someone made plans for me already. I hope to make it out the weekend of the 11th or 18th.

I have a ? for you.
I have been to lake city but have not been to taylor park. My question is how do the two compare, I thought lake city and the alpine loop was awesome with all the gultches and side trails to go exploring on. Is taylor park similar to the alpine loop?

Lake City, Ouray, and Silverton has very scenic trails to ride. Some of the best in the state. Not really much in the way of technical trails. The Teluride side has very scenic areas but have become very anti-OHV, not allowing unlicensed vehicles beyond the mountain passes that place you in their county.

IMO the Taylor Park area caters more to the OHV community having more riding access from campsites. It also has more trails on the technical side. Scenery is also top notch.

Riding 717 today, but looking for a camp/ride on the 18th.

Rockon, if babycakes bought you something, aren't you just supposed to admire it for a week or so?
