Saw these at RM ATV and was wondering if anyone uses these ?

Or do the newer ATV's already have a fuel filter ?

Thanks,

That is the exact filter I use. The stock size caused my carb to run dry if I was WOT for long enough even with a new filter. I am sure the filter designs might have been changed since 97 but my 400 2 stroke uses that filter with out any problems.

I don't recall what I paid but I picked mine up at Arvad Cycle in Arvada.

I would not recommend them with an EFI. High presure system and those are not made to handle the pressuer. The 800 have a huge metal fuel filter that needs to be changed occasionaly

Great point. I didn't realize that the fuel filter was on the high pressure side of the pump. Those plastic filters would deffinatly handle the pressure if that was the case. Our filters are all right off the tank with no pressure applied to them other than gravity.

Thanks Bigdog - I just figured that out. (That there is already a filter.) I think I have the same metal can filter.
