Guys...

As we all know OEM lights on most all model quads suck.. and if you do any amount of riding at night you soon realize that.... I have been looking for some aftermarket high power lights and I finally found some that I am satisfied with.... They are 55 watt lamps made by Peterson.. I got them from one of our sponsors here Montanan Jacks.. They cost about $60 including shipping.

Man...They really light the night UPPPPPPP... they increased overall good night sight distance up to around 300 feet and about 50 feet wide....

HIGHLY RECOMMEND...GREAT Product,,,especially if you do any night riding...

How hard was it to install?
Did you install a switch or hard wire into the factory lights?

It is not hard at all...just tie the wiring into the ignition point that turns the lights... I did not put a switch in...I just used the ignition system to turn on or off....

I have been thinking of adding some kind of after market light, but I think I want a switch to control them. How do you like them being mounted on the top of the rack as you do on your Outty vs. on the push tube as you have on your wifes machine.

These come with a switch...I just did not put it on and I can tell you ...these are the best lights I have ever seen at night....Great vision..

On the Outty ..the top of rack was really the only place to mount and they work great in either position.... HIGHLY RECOMMEND...Great product...
