I found this on Ebay and bought one about 3 months ago for my Outty 800... These knobs are a direct replacement for the OEM knobs, just screw off and screw on application...

They are made of high quality material ...Machined aluminum with the craftmanship being superb...
In fact I am buying another one today for the wife's new Outty.... Check out his Ebay store..he has several styles for all makes of quads...

Guess you found that the billet ones need frequent polishing to maintain the high gloss finish...

Probably not the 'hard' ones but for me I have a choice between a skull and flames, and I'm not that excited about either...

Glen.. I bought the Aluminum ones with the black powder coat...the Billet is too much Bling for me...
