Winter time is just around the corner, and for those of us that live in the north snow is bound to fall.

Black Line Snow Plows has a very interesting plow set up, that not only enables the plowing of snow, but with their set up even dirt.

Aside from the weight this set up might prove helpful to some of us.

Pretty neat, but I bet you pay for that neatness. Around here, most of the time we don't get enough snow to justify the expense of something that fancy. I've got an old Polaris 48" plow that I bought for $100 and it did what I needed to do even last year with our heavier than normal snowfalls!

Love them 2 strokers, and big twins!

The price is a bit high, if they would lower the price I am sure they would sell many.

WOW all I can say is this plow really plows!!!!

The amount of dirt and rocks that this thing will push is amazing Thumbup

The install and hook up could not be any easier. Drive up to the plow, line up the 1 inch tube drive forward, set the set pin, hook up the wire and that is it.

The 500 pounds of down force is truly welcome when back dragging the gravel drive way.
I also smoothed out a bit of the back yard.

Will have more fun Sat when I start the land scraping. Big Grin

Thanks

Gravel, rocks, and dirt the plow works great.
Sand is another story, as any plow they like to dig on the soft stuff and trying to plow sand is like trying to get COB to admit he is a HONDA fan.

The plow itself is great! The 07 Honda Rubicon did a good job moving this plow around, the only down fall is the plow weighs in at approx 200 pounds and with 200 pounds of weight being applied to the very front of the machine as this mount does not use push tubes the excess weight of the plow sags the front end of the Ruby and when I mean sag I am talking about approx 4 to 5 inchs of dip in the front end leaving the rear end much higher and the rider having to put extra pressure on their wrists to keep from moving/sliding forward.

The down force when back dragging is awesome!
I smoothed out the entire drive way with ease.

The actuator or lift is a bit slow, with only 1 inch per second of lift to much time is spent waiting for the plow to raise and if your one that wants to stack snow on the fly or move you might have a tough time due to the slow speed of lift.

If your machine has stiff front end springs and you don't care about stacking snow piles then this plow is the ticket.

I myself am not 100% satisfied with this plow and that is due to the speed of lift, the weight which hindered the springs of the Rubicon.

In my opinion I think this plow would be awesome for a side by side that has enough stiffness within its springs.

4 out of 10 stars, but keep in mind I base my findings, opinions and thought with the Rubicon in mind.
