Made the trip to Syracuse, KS on sunday. Is only 75 miles from my house and had some friends wanting to go try it out. They have 1280 Acres of sandhills that needs to be ridden to get rid of the grass & sagebrush so the sand will start moving. The potential to have dunes bigger than Waynoka OK Little Sahara is there. They opened on the 4th of July and when we asked if they had been busy we were told not until this past weekend. People have been staying in certain areas and have it opened up pretty good so the sand will start moving in those areas, but it is a very small portion of the total acres.
