&
AMA “Ride Into Political Action” Seminar

The American Motorcyclist Association, AR Trail Voyagers, Razorback Riders, River Valley Dirt Riders, Rock Crawlers 4WD, Arkansas Hare Scrambles Championship Series Racing, and the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council will conduct a NOHVCC Organizational Workshop on Saturday, August 11 and an AMA “Ride Into Political Action” Seminar on Sunday, August 12 at the Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas.

The purpose of the workshop and seminar is to bring together Arkansas off-highway vehicle interests including off-highway motorcycle, ATV and four-wheel drive enthusiasts and OHV-oriented businesses to:

• Build the foundation for a statewide Arkansas OHV association;
• Improve communication and cooperation within the OHV community;
• Establish professional working relationships with land managers;
• Build understanding of management issues;
• Learn how to improve and protect OHV recreation opportunities;
• Establish a statewide program to improve OHV recreation ethics; and
• Enable the OHV community to influence the political process.

A registration fee of $15.00 (single day) or $25.00 (two days) will be charged to cover materials, lunches and beverage service throughout the weekend. Advance registration is required. The registration deadline is August 3. There will be no on-site registration.

Once the statewide organization is started the more members we have the better it will be. We need to far out number the anti access crowds.
The more clubs you jpin the better. Your membership counts in every one of them when numbers are sent to politicians.
