Either late September or early October, we are planning another trip to Montana. While in that area, we want to go on into Canada up to Calgary and over to Lake Louise area. It has been about 20 years since I have been in that area. What type of problems would I have taking the ATV's and Toy Hauler into that area??? Permits, registrations, etc.???? Are there any good places to ride in the Banff and Jasper National Park area. I realize probably can't ride in the park but the areas around the parks.
thanks

I would appreciate it canambear... We are still planning on being around your neck of the woods for a week or so. Talked about leaving the toy hauler either around Helena or Butte and drive up to Canada and stay a couple days. The daughter is expecting her first child on the 15th of September so that is what is setting our window. I don't want the hassle taking the toy hauler and ATV's into Canada if no place to ride....

Well, after great consideration and thought, we are going to pass on coming this year. Much as we would like to come, I think the cost of fuel is too much to handle at this time. With new Toy Hauler, Solar panel setup, and remodeling at home, probably need to save some money... I estimate about 6500 miles round trip and cost around $3000 in diesel. I am sure we will make the trip, probably next year... We are headed to southern Colorado around the 19th. Cost will be half for fuel which is easier to handle for fuel....
