Danbury is a good place to ride .... I'm not sure what part of Wisconsin you live in - but I've ridden there quite a bit in the winter.

I know the Gandy Dancer is around Nemadji and St. Croix Forest - but those are both in MN - I'm going up to Nemadji this weekend.

My buddy Dan - says that there are great trails right near here:

You might want to check it out! Good luck I know it can be tough finding people to ride with I'm thinking about getting rid of my wheeler because it's hard to get people to want to go riding lately.

I think that there are trails in Silver Bay which is near Superior - you might want to check those out when you have a chance?

Hey thanks for the tips I've done a little riding up by Superior and in Twig MN. The trails are good up there especially into MN a lot of mud to play in. Superior has a lot of dirt trails.

Thanks speed I found a 96 mile trail not to far from me. That actually runs all the way up to Superior and connects to a bunch more. I am going to check them out. I'll keep you posted how they are

yes let us know what you get figured out as long - I don't know where there are long trails in MN other than the Soo Line north & south - which are long straight boring trails - not really my style, but I know some people enjoy that. I'm always looking for new trails in WI because it isn't that far away to go riding!

Well I know that web site speed posted said that 40 out of the 96 miles runs along HWY 53. I drive that way quite a bit. It looks like a long straight dirt trail. Which seems to be all of the ones I find in Wi. But I am still gonna check it out. I'll keep you posted

I tend to like the trails that are varied a little bit ... such as Isle, MN on the Red Top Trail System. Or Nemadji Forest is a great place to ride. I know my favorite at this point is the Black Hills of South Dakota - but riding there is so much different because the elevation gives a whole new challenge to the riding and the things that you come across. I should post some pictures from our South Dakota trip on the webshots so I can connect a link for you guys here on quad squad! Have a great day! So where do you live at Sgt?

I live in Colfax Wi just outside of Menomonie. Most the places I like to ride is at my hunting shack in Orr MN. I can put on a good 80 miles in a day and hardly hit speeds of 15mph. It ends up as a lot of winchin and liftin but its fun.

You are close to a lot of good trails. Jackson county and black river falls or clark county are both excellent areas to ride.

I have to say I'm dying to get my wheeler back from the dealer! I just can't wait to go wheeling....I'm sitting here at my desk just dying to get out there in the rain and mud that I'm watching fall outside my window! Grrr.... work is just an evil torture device!

Just got back from black river falls trails are good, a little rough going north out of black river falls, going south to milston was fun and fast, they remodeled the gas station there and it is really nice now. We also rode to prey and city point really smooth doing there. It was really fun riding friday and saturday, sucked having to leave, might try to go up again in october, before trails close.

Good to hear the trails were good for you. Do you know how much a trail pass is for out of staters?

A trail pass is now $35.00 and we went to the dnr office and for two years u can register your atv in wisconsin for $30.00, so that is what we did. I forgot to mention there was alot of people riding when we were there. Last year we didn't see very many people.
