Getting no replies on this post.

Maybe I should rephrase.

My brother and I going to the Quartzsite-salome Az. area for a week.

I'm asking for recomendations as to where we should go to while we're down there.

Already know about Dripping springs.

Anything else?

Always interested in old mines and graveyards.

I've been told that under no circumstances should you ignore military installation "do not enter" signs.

There's gotta be some snowbirds lurking around here!

You're right COB. Haven't seen Cecil around for a long time now.

You wouldn't happen to have his phone # by chance?

We stay in Bouse Arizona and it is about 20 mile north/east of Quartzite on Highway 72. I haven't ridden right out of Quartzite but there are so many quads and trails all over that area that I think if you just ask around folks will give you plenty of information.

There are mines all over the place. It would be hard not to run into one.

I live in Yuma Az. and I can tell you that the Barry goldwater bombing range here is a great ride! You need permission pass from Marine base in Yuma. (Free) to go on it. Wouldn't want to be there during their bombing runs! Also I do some prospecting around Quartzsite. Head south out of Quartzsite on hiway 95 about 3 miles. Take a right turn at "La Posa" south b.l.m. campground and go about 1 mile. There you will find all types of terrain to ride in. From dry washes to hills, to flat ground. Have fun! "Johnny Yuma"

Jeez Johnny Yuma, thats great. I've never heard of that one. Sounds like what goes on over at Slab City, only this might be better. Are you a full timer, a snowbird, or like me' someone that can't spent enough time in AZ??Thanks

Originally from Eagle river Ak, via Orofino, Idaho to here. Live here full time, but NOT spending anymore summers here! Too damn hot! Will be spending them in Idaho. Winter here is great, but NOt summer. A lot of interesting rides here. A lot of abandoned gold mines. Very dangerous to enter, but fun to look at.No rattle snakes to speak of in winter, but quite abundent in some areas in summer
