Good Evening Folks ....

Just thought you might want to check out some of the pictures from the Chatfield Ride on Saturday! We had a whole bunch of fun - even though we only went about 10 miles the whole day! What a great workout though walking around in the snow all day and we had beautiful weather. Here is the link to my pictures! Take a look and leave a comment letting me know what you think! Have a great night! We all got stuck, but we all had so much fun - I don't think it really mattered that much! Who knew that getting stuck and having to work together all day long just to keep going could be so much fun! I love winter riding and I thought I was going to hate it! I even stayed warm with my zillions of layers of clothes! Oh the new hand warmers and thumb warmer helped to stay warm too! Just thought I would let you all know that these are the Chatfield Trails in Chatfield, MN are a good time especially in the snow! Someone from our group said that these trails might be fun to come back and check out in the fall or early Spring too.... I'm always up for going riding! Anywho - hope you enjoy my pictures. I think there is a link to my other webshots pictures too if you want to take a look! If you have any questions just PM me and I'll answer them if I can!
Thanks,
MG

We really need the snow out here in the mountains because it's where a lot of our water comes from. But I sure hate the fact that it stiffles riding on some of our best mountain trails for more than 6 months each year!

Thanks ... it was my first winter ride and I had so much fun! Even if we didn't go very far. It was kind of funny because when I went to the club meeting for my atv club I heard some people complaining about how it didn't look fun to them to not go very far and be stuck a whole bunch... but I think it has more to do with a positive attitude and working together and trying to have a good time. Maybe the way you view the situation is more important that what you are doing for the whole day! I slept good that night! Thanks for the comments and have a great weekend! Wish I was going wheeling this weekend too! Thumbup

They just opened that trail system last fall. The complete trail system is on private land I beleive, but a local group of people got releases like the snowmobile grant-in-aid snowmobile trail system for this trail from the land owners.
