Boy those permits in Tennessee are a bit pricey! $191 for a non-resident annual permit is almost 8 times what the annual permit cost here in Colorado. I guess we're just spoiled! Big Grin

yea, i've been looking at those. it's 30$ per day for out of state. i guess thats the price you pay for wanting to play in their backyard. I'm sure theres been some Tennesse boys that have come down here to the coast to fish that have said the samething....lol.

Must be some mighty nice dirt or something! Big Grin For that kind of money, you could save enough to pay the gas bill to drive one way to Colorado, especially if there are several of you. Let's do the math! $30.50 times 5 days times 2 riders = $305.00 Colorado OHV Permit $25.25/year times 2 = $50.50 for a savings of $254.50. That divided by $3.80/gallon = 66.97 gallons of fuel times 14 miles a gallon will get you about 937.58 miles with just the savings alone. If there is more of you, the savings just continue to increase! Plus, we have the real mountains and are closer than them anyway! Smile

I'll tell you what........that ther was some good math. But we went to Uath last year so we're going east this year. oh, we're also in a diesel. With the way prices are going we may be just going to east Texas next year if that!

Ok, we're back.........I really don't know what to say about this place, other than....YOU GOTTA GO THER! The riding there is outstanding. Its more technical riding overall than Utah. Alot of ups and downs.....some of the trails are real steep with rocks and roots. We rode with some of the ROYAL BLUE RANGERS on Sunday, they we're scouting out trails for a night ride this last weekend. Great bunch to ride with. The staff at RIDE ROYAL BLUE were great also. The only downside to this whole trip was the 20 hours to get up ther, and the 20 hours back. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT...........
