Back from about 10 days of riding in the central Rockies - - what fun that was. Haggarman Pass area, lodgepole flats, Halfmoon, Champion mine, etc. Gosh I love riding my Honda Rancher, am I in the right place here?

I sure hope so to.Where is the founder of this event. It is like he just fell off the face of the earth. He must still be trying to sort through all that all he buys for that stable of quads. taz

It is getting closer and it seems to be cooling off some here in East Texas. About 30 days and counting.

The only warm up ride I have planned is to go to North Carolina in 2 weeks to watch the monarch butterflies with the wife. She said we need to do something different than a ATV vacation. She actually has some pretty neat stuff planned out for us.

Well, I'm out. If anyone needs a cottage at Wolf Pen Gap camp ground, the one I reserved is available. I tried to make this work out, but my damn clients are not cooperating. Big Grin I had 20 days prior to the event to cancel the reservation and I can see just how thinks are shaping up at work. It would add insult to injury to pay for a cabin I won't there to enjoy.

Sorry guys. Don't give up on me entirely. undecided

It was the Cedar Cottage at Wolfpen ATV Campground. I had it for 10/17 - 10/21 (rate goes down to $85/night for 4 days down from $105/night. There's very little chance I'm going to be able to make the trip right now, so I wouldn't count on me being able to show up. It's an awfully long trip for me (400 mi.) to make a shorter trip worthwhile.

I've already cancelled my reservation. Call them tomorrow, perhaps it's still available.

Rides getting closer, I've got some large maps with quite a bit of information on them I'll bring out. They'll be at about 95% accuracy but will show what the new rules will look like. Also, some timelines and stuff ya'll can use. New Wolf Pen maps, etc. Where we gonna meet? North Tralhead - Hawks - and of course, when?

We did have a nare-do-well burn down a cabin (norht side near Gap Crk.) sometime in August, the guy was gone at the time and lost everything. Anything ya'll might hear I'd be interested.

STB, would you be available on Oct 18 (Thursday) say around 3pm or so. We could meet at Wolf Pen Gap Campground, I have a cabin (Pine Cabin) reserved there, and we could go over everything in the cabin. I ll be up on Thursday around 12noon. Let me know if that will work for you.

I haven't heard about any cabins being burned in that area, maybe someone else has.

Look forward to meeting with you.
