Hey B2.. Don't worry about the funds right now... I will see you at the Rally.... The wife is pumped up and ready to ride....

I have been looking at some 19 inch tires on 10 inch wheels from ITP... I think they are Holeshots.... What do you and CC think about that....

Just getting ready, tomorrow I am changing all the oil in my Sportsman, and designing a new splash guard for the foot boards.

Hey Ed, on your SP 500 you have the same problem I do on my X2 when you go through water, your lower leg gets drenched, because there is no protection above the floorboards. It happens on both sides, mainly the left side.

His solution would to be ride it then turn around and ride it back the other way. His trip wouldn't be worth it if he couldn't do this trail. This trail will be closed Sept 08.

Ronnie settle down about the Shin Bone. We should do a special night ride through there, I haven't don't that, since its my favorite trail, and it won't be open too much longer we should do it.

I am going to work on it tomorrow, I just bought the fasteners, I ll see how well this idea works, and if I have enough material left over, I ll bring some for the rest of you guys in WPG.

I am just sick and tired of my leg getting soaking wet on rides, especially with the cold season coming up. 40degrees + wet foot or leg = no fun.

I had planned for it to be the last trail on the way back at night. I am just worried some might not want to do it at night. I thought you had done it at night.

No I have never done it at night, and I really want too. That would add a new feeling to it.

They plan on closing every trail that is not in the Wolf Pen Gap riding area itself. I really don't know how many miles it is but it is a bunch. It is gonna drop down from over a 100 miles or more of great trails down to just a little over 30. The county roads will still be open to riding as long as it doesn't have a forrest number on it. We have summited what trails we want left open at the comment meeting they had but I think it will fall on deaf ears. They have already screwed with some we wanted left over so that tells me none are staying open.

Hey folks, don’t shoot the messenger. There will still be over 500 miles of roads and trails open on the Mena/Oden of the Ouachita. The plan is to keep all the roads we can open to highway and OHV’s, not to close roads to OHV’s and allow highway traffic only. That’s a change in the mapping since the Open Houses. Around WPG most roads are County. Even with co-jurisdiction they will still be available for riding OHV’s. Some of the info ya’ll submitted are roads N 49A, N28, N30D, 525, N35, 7162, 7160 (seasonal only), N80 & N80 A (seasonal only) 511, 512 (Mena/Oden only), & N 76 will still all be open except the seasonal ones listed. We will be asking for some help in trying to limit some of the damage in a few places we are getting, mainly into the Caney Crk. Wilderness and some into the Brushy Crk. Country. WPG is alive and well, we will need to chat on the proposed rally coming up in October – I’ll be in touch. Maybe I can keep up with some info if ya’ll are interested in learning from the horses **** mouth.

We would love to hear more from you Smokey. Come join us for the ride. It will be a great time had by all. Do you know anything about FOrrest Service Road 99 heading to Blue Hole. That is one of the most popular and we summitted to keep that open as well. Any info you get put out is greatly appreciated.

I'll try and make it for part of the event anyway. The "99" road is on the district to the east so I don't know much about it. Who is ram rodding the WPG ride in October? For a group activity we may need to do a form or something, if the event is free an less than 75 folks we're fine. If charging - well, that's another story. If over 75 folks and free - you may need a permit, but it's free. I'll try and gather some info and post on this board maybe tomorrow night, gott'a hurry though, end of the week I'm heading to Colorado with MY ATV for 10 days of riding.

It's group of members from this board. I'd be amazed if we have anywhere near that number showing up.
