Got your PM.

Oh, if you buy flat fuel packs, DO NOT, DO NOT, buy the new Koplin Fuel Pack like this. It holds 4 gallons of gas and looks good, but its terrible. We rode with a group from Houston, and a few of the guys had them, and hated them. It leaked, you had to basically use pliers to tighten down the cap, and there is no pressure valve.

Buy the old one like this, it works perfect. Little bigger, but better.

For summer time I usually will wear tennis shoes and winter I have some waterproff boots. For real bad weather I have some kneehigh rubber muc boots. The muc boots are actually to hot even in the winter. With Voodoo having his horses I figure he knows what muc boots are.

If I can find a new spout for my 2 1/2 gallon jug that will give me a 5,2.5 and 2 1 gallon jugs we can use. It doesn't matter to me what everybody does I have some extra jugs plus Greggs extra flat pack.

I may have to plan on it, need to talk to Warith and see if he plans on going. I may just tent camp somewhere if I do.

I hear ya about the flat packs. Foneman and I bought a set for our Taylor park trip, I didn't use mine until the last day and that was for Fonemans quad. I use 4 gallons a day doing 100miles each day. Love that 6gall X2 tank. It was nice having the flat pack.

Ronnie, hurry up and post something else. You're post count is scaring me. ROFL

You can't live in south Louisiana and not have a full compliment of rubber boots. That's why I was trying to get an idea as to what to bring. I don't really like staying in knee high rubber boots all day, but like my feet cold and wet a whole lot less.

I keep telling my wife I am gonna get personalized plates with 666 on them. For some reason she keeps saying no. Cannot figure that one out. I didn't even notice the poust count when I did it. We are one day closer today to the ride. I forgot to mention that somebody needs to bring Gregg-O some boudan if I spelled that right. That has become his food of choice. ROFL Some good souther La cracklings would sure be good on the trail. Thumbup

Sorry you can't make Shelby will catch you on the next go round.

As far as the date of the TC 950 he was scheduled to receive 6, but is not getting 9 according to Arctic Cat, and Arctic Cat told him he will be getting them on October 15, or maybe a little sooner. He told many dealers who thought they were getting them are no longer getting them production went from 500 to 250, and only high volume dealers are getting them. Those 3 additional TC 950s he is getting came from a smaller dealer that is near him. Arctic Cat just pulled them.

My brother who is up in Minn. was talking with a local dealer up there, and he was scheduled to get 3, but is now getting none. That dealer was P.O. since he is in the backyard of Arctic Cat, and he can't wait to talk to the Arctic Cat Rep about this.

If your dealer can't give a firm date, he might not be getting any. I went to my local dealer before I went to the dealer I am buying it from now. My local dealer said oh, yeah we are getting them in Sept/Oct, I ll put your name on a list, and will give you a call. I thought maybe he was B.Sing me since the General Manager didn't even know about the dealer show or the TC 950. So that is when I called another big dealer, and that is when he told me I am getting 6 of them put a $500 deposit down and you will be guaranteed one so I did. So I went back to the local dealer on Wednesday, and asked if he knows when they will be coming in, and he told me they are not getting them now. So go figure.

I would just double check with your dealer, he should definitely give you a date when they will be shipped. If he can't he might not be getting them.

yeah voodoo i got it on. its not on right though. i was only 120 degrees in the garage when i put it on. it sounds great. i have the core out of it so everyone turns their head to look when i hammer down on the gas. pm me or email me you address so i can send you some funds for it.

i am going to be compleatly honest. if the ac 950 runs faster than my outlander right now, then it will have too much power to control or even use. with the clutch set up for the 23's and the pipe, it has more power than the brakes can stop. i was running a few laps around a mx track, the steering is too light, it needs the stabilizer. and the brakes would not scrub off engough speed to enter the corners. the 23's will be for drag racing only, unless i get a stabilizer.

Its going to be enteresting, I know I am by no means convinced the Big Kitty is going to beat a modded Outy. I can see it beating a stock one, and for sure a stock XT or a Max. But there will be mods for the Big Cats too, there is no doubt mine won't be stock any longer than it has to be. I am planning on just having the guys weld a pipe on it if none are available when mine comes in. I just hope there whole EFI system is a little more receptive to mods on the intake side than the Outy's have been.
