Just a heads up. Found mine broken.
Without that little spring keeping pressure on the seat latch there's a good chance the seat could come off going down the highway.

Only takes a second to double check it.

Thanks Rock, I just thought my 08 just had a easy open latch. I taped a nut on the handle to add some weight, but guess it must be missing a spring!! Slap

Well whutdouknow!!

Its been like that through at least one round-trip to Az. two thousand miles in the back of my pu.

Yeah that latch is pretty loose without the return spring.
I was wondering if there were other broken ones out there. Maybe they got a bad batch of springs.
