Anyone try it yet? I sent a message to VFJ to see if it will work with his stage 3 clutch which I have.

After doing some technical riding with my KEBC out. I think I am going to put it back in for the Colorado trip. There are times I would definitely like more braking on steep rocky hills. Trails and moderate stuff is fine without it though. I guess I can get a stage 2 VForce clutch and keep it?

yeah you can get the stage 2 and keep the ebc, i've gotten used to without it, all you have to do is keep up the backpressure by keeping the throttle on just lightly, almost just like having the ebc in there

the new Dalton kit has adjustable weights, I liked the Heelclicker on the Polaris for adjustability, and the Dalton is the same, but you can adjust the Dalton weights without removing them

Reliability is #1 for me. That is why I leave it stock as possible. I don't want any modification to ruin a once a year/lifetime vacation. If it does fail I want it to be Kawi's fault not mine. A much as that clutch moves I would worry about small parts backing out or wearing aggressively etc. If we had a hydraulic rear disc I may not mind it. Riding yesterday I needed to stop and instinct was to grab more brake not give it gas to slow down Slap

My bike had a backfire through the intake during my safety course yesterday. That is usually a lean pop. I may look into a PC3 to add more accel pump. Here we go modifying stuff again Bomb

lol...stock isn't any fun, half of the fun i have is modifying stuff....

one thing to definitely do is add the energy swaybar bushings to the rear, did you do that yet, for $15.99, great upgrade to have greasable swaybar bushings that are way better than stock

You wanna point me in the right direction? I heard you mention them before. I kind of liked the extra float and articulation. But stiffer is prolly better.

i've done a ton of testing on the polaris with the swaybar disconnected, i would never disconnect one again, the only time it helped alittle was downhill on rocky terrain, no other time does it help, its not a true long travel system as just the rear is moving more, and it causes an imbalance, even slow on level terrain when one side dips in a rut it will make the machine fall in more

for the Energy swaybar bushing, you can get them at i believe autozone, model 5158

here they are:

John got my clutch today. He said the Dalton kit is a waste of money on the Kawi. He said his spyder mods are all you need for weight mods.
He told me to get the stage 3 sheave machining, keep the EBC bearing and run an EPI maroon spring.
He also said to order Elka's 50-100 lbs lighter than what you weight. He said he has bought two dozen sets and they are stiffer than stock when ordered for the riders weight.
