I did a little more putting around the pasture and up and down the road. The new wheels and 26" Bighorns an winch mounted up rob some power. It doesn't rip like it use to. It runs fine and pulls strong it just doesn't snap and wheelie up like it did on stock tires. I am thinking about throwing 25" horns on stock tires for better ripping. I also noticed putting 5mph through my pasture the coated header was glowing red for 6 inches or so from the head. Many of my stock bikes have done this even the carburetor fed Honda's. I don't know if I should be concerned or not. I don't want a grass fire that is for sure. I would like a little more power now, oh no! A buddy came over and rode it and was not impressed from all the hype he read. He expected to roll on wheelies like a street bike.

yeah, the red glowing can happen at night on many of the machines...

i haven't seen any glowing on mine, but haven't had it out at night much, so will look at it when i do and see if its red at all

yeah, the machines are powerful, but for people that never have been on them, they think they are like my GSXR1000, but they're not, but i can in high gear, sit back a bit on my brute and it will wheelie easily...and hopefully after my clutch gets back, will do it even more with ease, cause you know thats why we bought these machines, to do wheelies lol

I had a thought this morning of getting a set of 25" dirt tamers for the stock wheels. That should give me more performance right?

yes, on those stock wheels, they are super light, just not very strong, so if you ride alot of rocks like i do, they would be a problem....

stock wheels and 25" tires will make the brute rip, i put on the 26 horns also, i may switch back to 25" if I run the desert races, currently I would have to run against sport quads, which would really be fun, i don't care if i win, but beating a bunch of sport quads would be fun

On my old Rincon board the stock wheels were the best and the ITP's etc were always getting holes busted through the inner barrels.
