I am going to order a diamond back bed cover (http://www.diamondbackcovers.com/atvmain.asp)with the 2 atv package. Is anyone using this cover? I am going to haul both of my sportsmans on top but I am worried about the side of my bed handling all that weight.

I am not sure I would like all of that weight on the sides either. There are other carriers that have a rack they sit on which in turn sits in the bed. Do a web search.

I am here N41° 10' 54.7" W111° 58' 38.84", and I want to be here, N38° 26' 57.84" W112° 13' 49.83"!

I was looking at them as well. The reason i like the diamond back is that all my gear will be in the bed and away from foul weather and mud dripping off of the quads onto it. The racks are cheaper than the the cover the cover with the 2 atv package is $2400 the racks are about $1000.

We were looking at those covers but since they are rated for only 1600# I felt they wouldn't hold up to 2 sportsmans that are around 900# loaded..I know the ads say they will handle 2 full size atv's, but it doesn't which 2..LOL..We went with the Bulldog atv sideloading rack which by the way was closer to $1500..Post a pic and review after the first time you load your atv's, it was a little unnerving the first time I loaded ours..LOL..

I have been beating myself up over this DB cover and came to the conclusion that I would be to nervus about all of the weight on the bed rails. I am trying to find a good price on the bulldog. they want $1795 + $245 shipping.

I have a rack from Cow town in Montrose Colorado and the rack just sits on the bed rails and I have never had a problem with two loaded sportmans. I like the cover idea also but maybe a fifth for the next camper that would be a little hard to do...Also my racks are made out of aluminum and weighs about 75 lbs total....

well I ordered the Bulldog side loader. I should have it in about 20 days. Of course I need to have them add 1" spacers to the bottom because it won't fit in the bed of my new Chevy.I really wanted the the Diamondback but I was really worried about the weight on the sides of the bed. I hated spending the money on the freight($245.00), but there are no Bulldog dealers near me.

Yes! I just got it today. I ordered it on the 5th of march. It took a while to get it and it was well worth the wait!

It is a 2500 duramax. no it doesn't feel tippy or top heavy. I am going to test drive with my travel trailer this weekend.

Does the overhang on the short bed come close to hitting the camping trailer when turning?

Can you put the rack in and take it out by yourself?

I am thinking of this rack.

Maxdun, I have the same rack but on a short bed F-250..On MY setup our travel trailer doesn't come close to hitting the rack when turning tight..Have never tried to load it myself..I tip it up and the wife backs the truck under it..It seems too heavy to load by one person..

I had the Bulldog rack in our F-350. It was agreat rack. I just got "chicken" putting the quads up there. I guess I could have got their winch kit, but elected to get a motorhome instead.

Yea...I know. A winch set up would have been cheaper. Wink
