After seeing Kenys new FERD I figured I would post pics of my new to me 06 Mega Cab. I had a 04 QC Cummins that I bought new and loved but the wife could never drive it with its 6 speed. I found a nice looking Mega cab auto and figured if I was ever gona trade I better do it now before I paid off my 04. If I had it paid for I would keep it forever. I loved my 6 speed but the payoff for gettign the auto was trading up to a Laramie with all the bells and wistles.
The old.

The new(to me)

The overhead reads as high as 22+ down the highway wich I dont see as beeing real realistic but I havent put enough miles on it yet to know for sure.

I'm getting pretty tired of the fact that the new Dodge trucks are starting to look kinda good to me. I've seen a few Cummins equipped trucks with bigger tires and other add ons and it pains me to say they looked nice. I'd like to ask someone here to "do me in" should I ever go on the fritz and buy the wrong brand. By the way, the silver truck is much better looking to me than the blue one. Not that I like either one of them mind you. undecided

You made a great choice in getting the mega cab.
I bought the 1/2 ton with the hemi and I will buy mega cabs from now on as long as they make them. So much more room in the back. With the hemi and the fuel management system I have seen as high as 22 on the highway. Put a 16ft trailer loaded with 4 wheelers and fuel mileage is a whole new ball game. Drops down to between 12 and 14 but I will still take it over my older Dodge any day.

I like the Cummins and I guess the look is growing on me, don't like the fact that a Dodge is wrapped around it. What steered me away was past experiance.

They are a nice looking truck, Good luck with your purchase.

Nice lookin' truck Brandon. My mom has a Mega Cab, Dad has one like your old truck(both Cummins). I need to "off" my ex so I can get rid of the child support and buy a truck like that. J/K
