I have two 2005 Polaris Sportsman ATVs (700 EFI & 500 HO) that can only be described as "large." The quads weigh roughly the same amount (about 800# each with fuel) and are the same size (83" long by 48" wide). What is the smallest Toyhauler that will actually let me load these two monsters without having to do a lot of special work? Does anyone here actually have similar ATVs they're putting into one of the smaller toyhaulers? I'm looking for something smaller because the 30' fifth wheel I have now (not a toyhauler) won't fit into some campgrounds and I'd like to maximize my options when taking the toys out to play.

Thanks in advance.

Jaafallon,

If you plan on having a seperate garage, you will have to load them sideways. If you get an open toyhauler you can load them one in front of the other. We had two Polaris's, a SP400 and a Trailboss 325 that we could load side by side in our Weekend Warrior FS3000. We now have a SP800 and SP500 that will not load side by side in a 96" wide trailer. Sometimes size will hit you in the pocketbook. Weekend Warrior makes a couple of trailers that will house your "large" ATV's lengthwise. The best tip I can give you is before you buy anything, load your ATV's into the trailer. Salesmen will tell you anything to make a sale, so if you can't load them in put tape on your driveway to match the size of the trailer and then place your ATV's inside. Good Luck.

We have a weekend warrior Front bath 26' it will load the x2 and my sp400 with out any problem. Only catch is when you are hooking up the tie downs you have to go back onto the frame to get a better angle.
