I found me a deal on this unique towing set-up. I made an even swap with my 2008 F-250. Couldn't have happened at a better time, here I come Colorado.

In all seriousness, I hope they made this up as a joke. I would hate to see this thing on the road. They whittled a 4x4 to fit inside the ball hole for the class III hitch, has a plank between that and the tail gate for extra support. Then there's the light duty chain with light gauge "S" hooks holding the tail gate up too.

Actually this camper setup might be closer to you then you think. The picture posted is 1 of 3 or 4 taken from an email. The close up of the whittled 4x4 shows a partially blacked out license plate from Utah. So you all that travel to Moab might get a chance to see this in person.

When I saw that I thought to myself "Kenny got rid of his 08 F 250? - - Nah, that can't be true!" But you had me going for a second or two. Big Grin

I would not want to be anywhere near that rig on the road. Eek It looks like an accident ready to happen.

I would imagine that thing pops a wheelie the second any forward travel is applied. Might be a good idea to add some weight to the front end to keep it down, then some more off the back end of the camper.

Looks like any hard turn will take the roof off that blazer/jimmy, if the front wheels would ever touch the road going forward...
