Voodoo through today, we have had a total of 9" here. It might be because most of our rainfall was horizontal and didn't make it in my rain gauge. shock I just got my power back, so I'll be able to sleep tonight. I'm hearing 8 weeks for some people fairly steadily in some of the harder hit parishes below us and Baton Rouge, so there must be some basis for that. We have crews from all over the country here now. The crew that got our power back up are from Ohio.

We were under a tornado watch all day too.

My friend down in Ocean Springs say that Generac Generators are some of the best ones out there. He has the Ultra Source because he also uses it to power his welder and it affords him portability and backup power for his house.

watts/voltage = amps
example 120 watt/120volts = 1 amp
Figure out what you want to run, add up the amps from the circuit breakers, or if you aren't gonna run your central air in the winter, dont count it.
volts x amps = watts
see if thispage helps you in sizing your generator.
I have heard good things about hondas, I just heard they ride rough Big Grin
