As the name seems to imply I enjoy duck hunting as well as big game hunting, fishing, QUADING, and anything that requires me to be outside. I am originally from Southern Washington and still spend much time there with my family and friends when the salmon are in the Columbia River. I have resided in the land of fruits and nuts for many years as I was shipped here from the University of Washington by Shell Oil Company-it was my first real job. I love quads and especially Polaris because of the ride and the durability when worked hard. I also love to accelerate quickly more than most other pleasures in life and that is the reason I have joined this forum so that some of your incredible knowledge can be put to use in my neck of the woods. Enough. Bye bye now.

You mean you're allowed to shoot wildlife in Mexifornia? Who'd a thought?

My daughter currently lives in Mexifornia, near Monterey.

I live in a socially diverse portion of Northern Louisiana. To the south you have the COON ASS or French American and to my north you have the Arkansas RED NECKS or just red necks. In my central location of this diversity, we consider our social standing to be just having the RED ASS...........

The Dirty South welcomes you to this primo site........

Cajun-sorry to hear your daughter lives in this nuthouse, but at least it is beautiful in that part of Mexico. Weather here is usually prime, but to many idiots for this old northwest boy.

Whoops, so sorry--that is too many idiots not to many idiots. What the hell was I thinking. And to you Stealth- Houston was as close as I have been to that part of the world. Hope it's better weatherwise when compared to Houston. The thought of living in that sweat hole is what made me quit working for Shell Oil Co.

Ahh-one more quick thought Cajun. Yes they do let you trim the wildlife population at least for now, but you can't tell anyone other than your closest friends. Otherwise you might find one of the halfwits chained to your favorite oaktree until you release the ducks and other poor creatures from the freezer.

They will be out of there by the fall. My son in law is in the Air Force. We've been to Monterey a few times. This is the second time they've had to move there. I could get used to a climate like that. I just couldn't afford it.

Unfortunately Louisiana, at least down here in the southern part, has worse humidity than Houston. Although with all that concrete Houston typlically has higher temperatures than we do.
