I have been riding atvs since they only had 3 wheels and dirt bikes before that. I recently got my wife and daughter into going with me. They have been riding for 2 yrs,and i just got my 82 yr old dad into it also.Anyway we live and ride in southeast s.d. and also in the black hills area.

I live in lake andes,we have a new club based out of yankton called southeast s.d. atv association. We have a new trail system we built last year called talsmastrailpark it is private property south of avon on the missouri river.It is 300 miles to the black hills from my hometown.

I was out to check out Talsmas the day after Holloween. My wife was bummed that we missed the Holloween ride. We only had a few hours to check it out because we went out Sunday after church and it is abought a 2 1/2 hour drive frome here. We will be back this spring for a full day or overnite type of ride. I wish they would let us off the trail a little with permision. I seen a lot of fun obsticals just yards from the trails that i would realy like to have a go at. Maybee we will cross paths this spring at Talsmas.

Our club is looking at building more new trails at talsmas this winter and early spring.It would be fun to get together, i could show you all of the trails.
