I have gotten a couple of text "spams" that I knew how to block from my cell phone. But, I got one, yesterday for "discount Rx meds" cheap cheap cheap. There is no five digit number associated with the text, only an email.

Is there a way to block this? My cell phone service provider has never seen this.

Reply " Stop" to the message if you can. I get spam on my phone sometimes and this is what verizon told me to do and it has worked.

I was getting requests from some kid (I think) wanting nude pictures. (I should have sent him one - that would have stopped him cold!) I called Verizon and they told me how to block messages from specific senders. I should have wrote it down because I can't remember how now. The point though, is your carrier should have a way to do it.
