I was wondering if anyone has bought one of the new digital picture frames and what kind of luck you are having with them. I have been doing research on the web about them and from what I have seen the biggest determining factor is the resolution no less than 640 X 480

My Mother-in-Law bought a GiiNii brand today 800 X 600 Resolution on a 8" screen it seems ok good quality so far. I am curious if anybody has one.

Thanks

oops! thought I was in the Electronics forum maybe it can be moved?

I got an eStarling last christmas for my wife,
http://www.estarling.com/products.sf

I got it maily b/c it's wireless and I can make it pull pictures off my website. I never have to touch the thing. I manage the pictures from a website and in a few minutes they appear on the frame.

This kind of frame would be perfect for grandparents or anyone w/ wireless internet but not quite tech savvy enough to do it themselves. You could modify their pictures remotely. It's also great for the lazy geek. Yes it cost more than most picture frames, but not having to load pics on a flash card makes it worth it to me.
