why do I let a company try to fix their program on my puter, WHY!!!! I know better. over 5 1/2 hours and my puter still ain't workin. I now have 2 quads to change oil on and Fix the puter..

thanks UTU, I just got back up. If anyone is using norton antivirus 9, don't let it update. It has a problem with XP and they should have it fixed within 30 days.
I don't think I am still a beta tester with XP. I was with 98 but I'm not sure bout XP. If I am then no one will get the bad update cept beta testers. They gave me 30 days free added on to my time. The last time I helped with 98 I got a free year. Times, they are a changin..

Hobbles - I just deleted Norton Internet Security 2008. Plan to buy the 2009 version. Is there still a problem?

You should be 0k, they just had a problem with the sp3 but got it fixed. If I hear/find anything I'll let ya know. You do the same please.
I have been using Norton since the early 90ies and all in all I like the product.

I also like the Norton security system. I've used it for several years and I haven't had any problems. I like to do on-line banking and feel better having Norton protecting my system.

It was -20 below zero here this morning. Pretty darn cold. I'm staying inside and play on the computer.
