Hello Suzuki World

Well... today I bought my wife a new 07 King Quad 700.... WOW what a great ride.. plenty of power and handles great.....

I have to say....it handles better than any quad I have owned thus far ...including Polaris and Can Am... the steering is very nice and the smooth power of the 700 is very good as well ... very impressed so far...

I will have Pics tomorrow,,, it is black with black ITP 108 wheels....sharp as hell...

Voodoo, congrats! Now the first thing to do is put a Twin-Air air filter on that thing and throw away the stock paper filter. If I didn't have other building projects coming up, I would be owning one now. Big Grin

I really like the fact that the KQ700 comes with a pull start. The sp700 and 800 doesn't and it can leave you stranded if you loose the battery! Not sure why Polaris didn't put a pull start on the twins. It can't be because of efi as the 700 carb doesn't and the 500efi does. I might just as this in the popo forum. Anyway the KQ700 is a very good choice Voodoo Thumbup

You need ask the guys how to disable the 4x4 over ride. I can tell you from experience that is pain. Just when you need the power the machine is running out of it, they are limited to 17 miles an hour. I thought he had blown a plug or some thing was wrong with the motor.

He told me after being stuck several times in the snow that day that every time he seen snow that he knew he was going to get stuck. Another suggestion is the stock tires they are worthless, or at least the ones on his machine were. They may have changed, but adding BH and cutting the limiter made it a whole new machine.

Man that King sounds sick. That rider must not even be pressing the override button! But even pressed it only lasts a minute then times out, and even then it doesn't deliver full power.
Suzuki had its head up its rectum when it designed this stupid joke of a 'safety' device.
You can eliminate it altogether.

Under the seat is the ECU, the thing that has the most wires coming out of it.
Locate the red/green wire that comes from the edge connector, and is numbered 15. I believe it is the second one in from one end. (all the wires are numbered on the plastic connector)
Take a breath.

Cut this wire.
That's it.
No more limiter in low/lock.

I am sure he will chime in here but in a weeks time he made a piece of worthless junk into an awesome machine.

You had to be there to see the change and belive it, just cutting the wire and adding BH did for that machine.

Cob was right I will chime in. I wouldn't trade it for anything now, But on that day..... Anyway I think Glenlivet turned me onto this website http://www.nyrocatv.com look under the suzuki king quad forums and they have alot of tech tips. I think your wife will be very happy with this machine. I see you already got the dunflops off and the wire cut. That's all I did so far and I love my king. Funny thing, in this months issue of quad magazine a letter writer is trying to figure out what type of quad to buy and he asks them "why do you guys always ride king quads when you go on a trip? We owners know why. enjoy.

thanks cob, do you need my address?
About the plastic rivets, I bought 2 packages of 10 at autozone for about 7 dollars. I am not sure I like those, but now that I found a cheap replacement it won't bug me as bad. f

THX sbebout.... Yeah ..thus far I would have to say.... the King rides better than any quad I have ever ridden, including the Outty.... the Outty is blazing fast and a romp to ride, but just general ride comfort, steering, strong and smooth power... the KQ is the BOMB and very fun to ride,,,can't wait to get it on the trails...
