Putting bigger tires on a quad will always put more stress on the drive train. With that said, I know of a few Eiger owners over at the HighLifter Forum that run bigger tires, you may want to check out their setups and ask them questions. A lot of them run 26", a few run 27", and I think I've heard of one with 29.5" tires. I'm fairly certain that in order to run bigger tires on the Eiger, a jet kit, exhaust, and clutch kit will be in order.

agree...with Angela... The larger you go on tires will decrease the life or increase your maintenance costs for sure..... I was always told not to go larger than one inch over stock..

Voodoo, I went with 27s, and love them! I need to do a lil modding underneath, mainly to the crazy design flaps in the front. The left side holds in place fine, where the right side tends to get caught up on the tire while turning hard. Never had it pull off or anything like that, but gets a lil aggravating. With my mods, I have noticed hardly/if any performance loss! Cheers, Brandon Beer
