I believe they still work. I'm not sure how to downsize one. If it's not much bigger than 80x80, it should still be okay.

Some one posted a way to downsize a pic to an icon a whle back but I cant find it. Think it was Gomer but could be wrong.

If you have Microsoft Office, then you should have Microsoft Office Picture Manager. That's what I use and it is a choice under the picture tab to resize.

How do I upload the gif? it asks for a URL, what the heck is that.

A URL is the web address where the .gif would be stroed. This would be a photo / picture hosting site or some other file hosting site.

It has to be saved on a site that host's files, such as a picture site. Then you can edit you avatar in your profile settings and change it to the web address and file name for where your gif is stored. The are a bunch of free picture hosting sites that you can use. Maybe some folks will chime in here with their favorites.

Guess I will have to go with this one, until I find out how to resize the other. gif works will only resize gifs under 400k, the one I wanted done was 443k.

Post, PM, or Email me a link to the picture. You already have the needed permissions. Also many site do not allow for external linking.
