Just got this e-mail from the LADY we were able to help after rolling her quad on the trail recently.

Hi Jerry,

I am finally sending you an email thanking you for getting me down the ATV trail on June 7th. I ended up in ER for 6 hours just to have them tell me they weren’t going to do anything and to see an Orthopedic surgeon on that Monday.

I fractured my Clavicle and broke a couple of ribs in my back. Had surgery to fix the collar bone because the overlap was too great to let it heal on its own. I’m finally feeling half way human again. Never want to go thru that again.

Would you send me your ATV club’s website link…I can’t remember what you told me. I think my neighbor Ron who was on the ride with me that day might want to join up with you all. Not sure I’m getting back on mine yet!

Makes me proud to be a member of the QS Cob as I know all of you would take the time to assist anyone in trouble out on the trail. It had to make you feel good to get a note from her. Thumbup

I hope this lady will be able to overcome the trauma of the accident and ride again.

Cob - glad you were there to help her out. Good to know she will be okay with some time to heal up.

We have helped out a few people on the trail but our help has been minimal (usually it's a mechanical breakdown). I would like to think if we broke down or needed help someone would do the same.

Way to go, Cob!

The real credit goes to ROCKON, ATVER and NEWZUKI they all went far beyond to help and comfort her. I just got her off the trail and back to main road.

Great job. Eek I am thinking I would have to be in some serious pain to see a face like yours show up and let you help. Guess you charmed her enough or she was one hurtin' unit. ROFL

In all seriousness, glad someone could be there for comfort to get her down the mountain. I am sure she was scared stiff.
