I read in our local newspaper that a 25 year old ATV rider was killed when he flipped his ATV. He was not wearing a helmet. Not much other detail has been released. This is not a good thing for the ATV world.

Be nice if they posted more info about the accident. It would maybe help soak into some others. Was he going to fast was he on a slick road that type of thing.

Sad part it is the ones that he left behind that will suffer now.

It proves that accidents happen, fast, slow, easy or technical terrain.

Okay I admit I typically load/unload without a helmet. Probably more accidents doing this than other forms of riding ATVs.

Safety gear is a good thing no matter what.
